Mr. Chris Gatsch is the Co-Founder, President & COO of Alta Vera Global Capital Advisors and Founder & Managing Partner of Lake House Private Wealth Management. Mr. Gatsch focuses on building a modern, institutional-grade advisory and capital platform that blends wealth management, private markets, and strategic capital solutions for advisors and their clients.

At Alta Vera Securities, his work centers on capital raising and access, introducing private market opportunities through Stonehaven and creating an open-architecture platform advisors can truly scale on. His team concentrates on sourcing differentiated managers, structuring thoughtful capital solutions, and giving advisors a clear path to grow, monetize, and expand their practices.

Before launching Alta Vera and Lake House, Mr. Gatsch began his career at Merrill Lynch and later joined JPMorgan, working across wealth management, capital markets, and lending for high-net-worth families. Those experiences shaped his belief that clients and advisors deserve institutional capabilities delivered without the friction and delays of large firms.

Mr. Gatsch graduated from the College of Wooster, where he played soccer and lacrosse. Sports remain a part of his life; he still trains, plays in a co-ed league, and coaches youth teams. Outside of work, he spends most of his time with his wife, Ali, and their three children, and stays active in community and school initiatives.

Mr. Gatsch currently holds Series 7, 24, and 66 licenses with FINRA.

Mr. Juan Castañeda is the Co-Founder of Alta Vera Securities and Principal of Alta Vera Global Capital Advisors, and the Founder and Managing Partner of Mar8 Family Office, based in Miami, Florida.

He advises affluent individuals, families, and multi-generational trusts, delivering highly tailored wealth management, cross-border tax and estate planning strategies, and access to differentiated private investment opportunities.

With over 20 years of experience, Mr. Castañeda brings deep global expertise across private wealth, capital markets, and alternative investments. He is a trusted advisor to U.S. and non-U.S. families navigating complex, multigenerational financial needs.

Prior to founding Mar8, Mr. Castañeda held senior leadership roles at Merrill Private Wealth Management and J.P. Morgan Private Bank, and previously served as Managing Director at Fieldpoint Private. Earlier in his career, he spent more than a decade at UBS Investment Bank in New York and São Paulo, leading Latin America and Caribbean financial institutions coverage.

Mr. Castañeda earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia and completed an Executive Program at IESE Business School.

Mr. Castañeda holds SIE, Series 7, 63, and 65 registrations with FINRA.
