David Gutterman, Managing Partner at Aureate Capital LLC, Joins Stonehaven’s Affiliate Platform

We are excited to announce that Mr. David Gutterman has officially joined Stonehaven, LLC as Managing Partner of Affiliate Partner Group, Aureate Capital LLC.

Mr. David Gutterman is a Managing Partner at Aureate Capital. Mr. Gutterman focuses on capital raising, strategic consulting and mergers and acquisitions for early-stage companies in a variety of sectors including cannabis, fintech, technology and alternative investments such as crypto, blockchain, Web 3.0 and NFTs. Prior to joining Aureate Capital in November 2021, Mr. Gutterman was an investment banker and head of capital markets at MJC Partners in Los Angeles. While at MJC Partners, the Company was the most active placement agent for community banks in the Western U.S., ranking 1st in private placements (equity & debt) while he was there. Mr. Gutterman was lead execution on eight bank equity capital raise transactions for a total of $134M in deal value and seven bank debt capital raise transactions for a total of $99M in deal value. Mr. Gutterman also worked on 12 closed M&A transactions for over $470M in deal value. Prior to joining MJC Partners, Mr. Gutterman was a financial institutions group investment banker for Sterne Agee in Newport Beach where he focused on mergers and acquisitions and equity advisory for bank and non-bank specialty lender clients. Prior to joining Sterne Agee, Mr. Gutterman was a technology group investment banker for Arbor Advisors in Palo Alto where he focused on mergers and acquisitions for private technology companies. Prior to joining Arbor Advisors, Mr. Gutterman worked with JP Morgan Securities in their private client services division and with Deutsche Bank in their structured finance division. Mr. Gutterman graduated from University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business where he holds both a Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science. Mr. Gutterman, his wife Natalie, and daughter Eliana live in Manhattan Beach, CA. Mr. Gutterman most enjoys spending time with family, playing and watching sports and hosting events for his friends. Mr. Gutterman currently holds the Series 7, 79, 63 and 66 registrations with FINRA.
