Ms. Courtney Hutchison is the Managing Partner of Hutch Securities, LLC.
Hutch Securities is dedicated to connecting impact funds with institutional investors and scaling innovative companies through transformative capital partnerships.
In addition to founding Hutch Securities, Ms. Hutchison founded Hutch Impact, a consulting firm serving venture capital, private equity, and hedge fund teams in navigating the evolving landscape of impact investing.
Ms. Hutchison’s diverse experience encompasses a range of investment roles throughout asset classes, including a SPAC sponsor team, a hedge fund of funds, an energy private equity fund, an impact asset allocation advisory firm, and an ESG wealth management firm. This enables her to bring a deep understanding of the qualities different types of allocators are looking for in funds and the tools investors can use to communicate their authenticity while seeking above-market rate returns.
Her expertise is amplified by her academic foundation in environmental science and finance, which she leverages to identify funds and companies she believes are poised for significant returns and lasting social and environmental impact.
Ms. Hutchison earned a Master of Science in Sustainability Management focused on Finance from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies with a Wharton concentration focused on Energy Economics, graduating magna cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania.
When she’s not writing about ocean carbon capture or having coffee with climate tech founders, you can find her scuba diving, playing pickleball in the Presidio, or training her golden retriever.
Ms. Hutchison currently holds Series 7 and 63 Registrations with FINRA.
