Mr. Andrew Kline is the Founder and Managing Director at Park Lane. Park Lane was founded in 2005 to facilitate the purchase and sales of professional sports teams as well as the financing of early and late-stage sports-based businesses.
Mr. Kline brings a broad background of professional sports experience, investment banking expertise, and industry knowledge to Park Lane. He has advised on M&A transactions in all the major sports and he has also been instrumental in obtaining financing for many early-stage sports-based businesses.
Mr. Kline is currently a member of the Stanford Executive Circle, Young Presidents Organization (YPO), the Association of Corporate Growth, the NFLPA, and the NFL Retired Players Association. In 2013, at the age of 36, Mr. Kline was named to The M&A Advisor’s 40 Under 40 list. Mr. Kline was also named to SportsBusiness Journal’s 2016 Power Players List in the Advisory category and Los Angeles Business Journal’s 2017 edition of The Money Book celebrating the most influential people in Los Angeles finance.
Prior to founding Park Lane, Mr. Kline was drafted by the NFL World Champion St. Louis Rams, for whom he played center and quick guard. After retiring from the NFL, Mr. Kline became an active investor in the San Diego and Arizona real estate markets and brought sizable returns to investors in his fund. Mr. Kline also founded The Australian Surf Academy (sold to Surf Diva in 2004) and The Athletes Agency (sold 49% in 2005). Kline also served as the Chairman of the Athletes for Rudy Giuliani Coalition during Giuliani’s bid for the presidency. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Navy SEAL Family Foundation and is very active in fundraising efforts for Special Forces and Special Operations Forces.
Mr. Kline attended San Diego State University, where he majored in Psychology, and the Business Management & Entrepreneurship Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Mr. Sean Clemens is a Managing Director and Partner at Park Lane.
Park Lane was founded in 2005 and is a leader in professional sports M&A, early-stage capital raising, and 3rd party marketing for some of the most prominent asset managers in the United States.
Mr. Clemens joined Park Lane in 2009 and oversees Park Lane’s mergers and acquisitions practice, advising on sell-side and buy-side mandates while working primarily with clients including sports leagues, teams, and companies at the intersection of sports, media, technology, and consumer products. In addition to his leadership role in sports M&A, he is actively involved in the firm’s strategy, deal review, capital raising transactions, valuations, and due diligence, among other service offerings and responsibilities.
Mr. Clemens has worked on transactions across all major American sports leagues, European soccer, action sports, golf, lacrosse, rugby, esports, emerging leagues, and minor league sports, and spanning a wide range of sports-based businesses. Recognized by The M&A Advisor among their Emerging Leaders in the Dealmakers category, Mr. Clemens is a frequent contributor to sports industry-leading publications, also having authored SportsBusiness Journal articles and industry white papers on behalf of Park Lane.
Mr. Clemens is a graduate of Cornell University, where he earned a B.A. in Economics and Spanish and also studied in Spain at the University of Seville.

Mr. Edwin Draughan is the Director and Partner at Park Lane.
Park Lane was founded in 2005 and is a leader in professional sports M&A, early-stage capital raising, and 3rd party marketing for some of the most prominent asset managers in the United States.
Mr. Draughan has been a member of Park Lane since 2017 and is actively involved across all of the firm’s services. Mr. Draughan’s primary responsibility is to lead the firm’s efforts with sports franchise valuations and due diligence, which include client relations, market awareness, and deal sourcing & execution. He also plays an integral role in the firm’s Sports Team M&A, Capital Group, and Traditional Real Estate strategies.
Before his time at Park Lane, Mr. Draughan was a professional basketball player in Europe. During his 10-year career, Mr. Draughan competed and won championships in countries such as Switzerland, France, and Hungary. Toward the end of his professional basketball career, he founded the private wealth management/financial planning firm Diesel Financial where he helped professional athletes build a strong financial future. During that time, he earned his C.F.P. (Certificate of Financial Planning) and E.A. (Enrolled Agent) distinction.
Mr. Draughan earned his undergraduate degree at Yale University, M.B.A. at the U.S.C. Marshall School of Business and M.L.S. at Loyola Law School.

Mr. David Hartzell is a Senior Analyst at Park Lane.
Park Lane was founded in 2005 and is a leader in professional sports M&A, early-stage capital raising, and 3rd party marketing for some of the most prominent asset managers in the United States.
His primary role is to effect securities transactions, namely in the primary and secondary markets. Mr. Hartzell works for Park Lane Secondaries Group, trading later-stage, illiquid stock in private companies.
Prior to Park Lane, Mr. Hartzell served as a U.S. Navy SEAL from 2007 to 2015 and remains very active in military charities.
Mr. Hartzell earned his BS in International Business at SUNY Buffalo. He currently resides in Southern California.

Ms. Bianca Medici serves as Park Lane’s CFO.
Park Lane was founded in 2005 and is a leader in professional sports M&A, early-stage capital raising, and 3rd party marketing for some of the most prominent asset managers in the United States.
Ms. Medici is responsible for supporting the accounting and cash management activities of Park Lane and the portfolio companies. She has over 20 years of experience in accounting and finance.
Ms. Medici has a BA in mathematics from Wellesley College, where she graduated with distinction. She also attended Harvard University and UCLA, where she completed her accounting program.
