Mr. Jason Kirby is the founder and Managing Director of Thunder X Capital, LLC.

Thunder X Capital is a tech-enabled investment bank that uses AI and software to streamline the fundraising journey for its clients. Their technology seeks to significantly reduce the time it takes to raise capital by identifying better efficiencies throughout the process. Thunder X Capital focuses on raising early-stage venture capital and debt for startup companies seeking to raise $3M-$20M.

Mr. Kirby comes from founder and operator roles prior to getting into investment banking. He built and sold a few small businesses early in life and transitioned to running venture-backed startups. Mr. Kirby was responsible for raising $40M for three different companies in HR tech, cloud tech, and edtech. He sold a cloud tech company to Walmart in 2018, providing a 10x return on investment to investors in less than 3 years. As an operator, Mr. Kirby, had to build a business investors wanted to back and architect a narrative that was appropriate for the venture scale. He’s done this now for dozens of companies as an operator, angel investor, or advisor.

Mr. Kirby leverages his background to relate with founders and introduce them to his vast network of capital allocators.

Mr. Kirby holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration with an emphasis in Entrepreneurial Management from San Diego State University.

Mr. Kirby currently holds Series SIE, 63, and 82 registrations with FINRA.

Ms. Ritu Khanna is a Director at Thunder X Capital, LLC.

Thunder X Capital is a tech-enabled boutique investment bank that leverages its affiliate, Thunder Labs, Inc., to streamline the fundraising journey for its clients using AI and software. Their technology seeks to significantly reduce the time it takes to raise capital by identifying efficiencies throughout the process. Thunder X Capital focuses on raising early-stage venture capital and debt for startups seeking to raise $5M-$50M.

Ms. Khanna has over 15 years of experience across the financial services industry, primarily in an investor relations capacity. At Thunder X Capital, she focuses on building relationships with family offices, private equity firms, and venture capital funds to connect them with high-growth investment opportunities.

Ms. Khanna began her career at Goldman Sachs within their prime brokerage division, working with top-tier hedge funds. She later worked at J.P. Morgan, where she worked closely with growth and venture funds, and subsequently went to Brookfield, where she solely managed investor relations for the firm’s multi-billion-dollar real estate debt funds, servicing state pension funds and insurance companies.

She also has entrepreneurial experience from her time at RD Advisors, where she secured a $15 million credit line and launched a fund on the CrowdStreet platform. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong ability to navigate complex fundraising efforts and manage institutional relationships.

Ms. Khanna holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA in Economics from Barnard College.
